PLAYING FIELD

 
Our Parish Playing Field
Purchased by the Parish Council when the school closed and the village was at risk of losing its green space. The Chair at the time, Lynne Askew, persuaded Devon County to sell it to us for a nominal amount.

It is mown monthly by contractors paid from the precept we pay. The rest of the tidying, trimming and planting is carried out by volunteers. A special thanks to Mike Muir for keeping the hedge under control.

RULES:

• No dogs
• No fires or barbeques
• We don't own Wombles, please don't leave litter or rubbish
• Please keep the gate closed

The equipment is checked weekly and ROSPA check it annually. However, we have had deliberate damage to equipment in the past so please check for obvious issues before letting children on any equipment.
